Eighth annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 was held in Hyderabad, IndiaFrom November 28th – 30th, 2017 Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 was held in Hyderabad. The Summit was hosted by NITI Aayog in partnership with the Government of the United States of America.


The Higher Education Finance Agency (HEFA) Board  Approved ₹ 2066.73 crore interest free loanOn 29th November 2017 Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar twitted this info that HEFA Board approved ₹ 2066.73 crore interest free loan to 6 institutions. These six institutions are IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur and NIT Suratkal. Total No. of Projects is 27, of which 16 are for Research/academic facilities and 11 for other supporting infrastructure.

Ministry of Railways launched 1ST Swarna Rajdhani (New Delhi- Sealdah Rajdhani) rake today.

On 29th November 2017 Country’s first Swarn Rajdhani (New Delhi – Sealdah Rajdhani Express) was launched in New Delhi. The upgrade took place under project ‘ Swarna ‘.  Eastern Railways upgraded the train.

The Reserve Bank of India asks co-operative societies not use the word ‘Bank’ in their names.On 29th November 2017 The RBI said that according to Section 7 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 co-operative societies cannot use the word ‘Bank’ in their names.
